Petrovits, Patrick, Smith & Company LLC, CPAs is pleased to announce that Kariann McDougall, a staff accountant with the firm, recently obtained her Master’s Degree from Post University graduating with distinction (AKA 4.0), accepted into Delta Mu Delta, Nu Zeta Chapter, an International Business Honor Society, and honored at the CTCPA Banquet for attaining her CPA. Congratulations Kariann!

Students who receive the distinction of Baldrige Scholar in the Malcolm Baldrige School of Business at Post University represent the very top of their graduating class. The distinction was created from the belief that those with the highest scholastic achievement in the School of Business should bear the name of the person for whom the School is named. While grades play an important role for consideration, they’re just the first gate. An entire academic review of the student’s work and interviews with the faculty about the student’s character and leadership are equally weighted in making the final decision. This distinction is about the whole student; it’s not just about excellence in exams and the ability to write good papers. It’s about genuine scholarship. Those who bear the title Baldrige Scholar represent the top 5% of each graduating class from the Malcolm Baldrige School of Business at Post University.”

We are excited with Kariann for this great accomplishment and are honored to have her as part of the PPSC, LLC team.
